vGOV Portal
The vision of the vGOV project is to provide face-to-face access to all government services from local community facilities. This will lessen the distance penalty that so many of our rural citizens face each day. vGOV has been developed in the upper midwest through a partnership between the University of North Dakota (UND),the Social Security Administration (SSA) and the Indian Health Service. (IHS)

Community of Interest Portals
A Community of Interest Web Portal is a web site that contains information, links, and other content that is specifically tailored and relevant to a community of individuals with common needs or interests. Using Community of Interest Web Portals allows GRO to create a platform on which electronic government services can be presented in a way that is helpful, interesting, and enjoyable to North Dakota residents. Establishing Community of Interest Web Portals by leveraging social networks that already exist enhances citizen’s ability to receive government services on the internet.
